The North West is a big place, and therefore it can be quite difficult to find and think of new laces to visit or things to do. So we thought, why not put a guide together for our fabulous customers to do while we repair and service their caravan, motorhome, camper van or static caravan in the North West. Morecambe Things To Do While On Holiday



There is a lot of things Morecambe is known for, it’s so famous and loved, that Eric Morecambe changed his second name to Morecambe because of how much he loved this area. Within Morecambe, you can find a beautiful sea front, as well as fish and chip shops. You can also visit the Eric Morecambe statue, Happy Mount Park, Soul Bowl, Morecambe Winter Gardens or Festival View. Morecambe enjoys one of the finest views from its promenade of any seaside town in England, a magnificent sweep of coastline and bay, looking across to the Lakeland mountains.

Things To Do In Blackpool When On Holiday



Blackpool, where can we begin! There is endless amounts of things to do whilst you are here. A trip up the tower is a must, you'll see some absolutely stunning views there. Coral Island is great for all round family entertainment and if fair is your thing who can forget the pleasure beach. As well as the many great places to eat including harry ransoms you really are spoilt for choice. A trip on a tram right down the front will show you all the attractions and a walk down the front will offer you some stunning views out to sea. If you're lucky enough to be visiting Blackpool around the end of September, you'll get to see the lights switched on which gets people from miles around visiting Blackpool.

Southport Things To Do While On Holiday



Southport is a seaside town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside, England. Why not take a trip on the train that runs down the beautiful victorian pier, visit Silcocks Fun Fair, take walk down the famous Lord Street and get a bite to eat in one of the many great places located here including the fish and chips shops. Of course, visiting Southport beach and getting an ice cream is a must. And if Movies are your thing, there is a Cinema located across from the beach next to the pier.

Things To Do While On Holiday In The Lake District



The Lake District is a region and national park in Cumbria in northwest England. A popular vacation destination, it’s known for its glacial ribbon lakes, rugged fell mountains and historic literary associations. Market towns such as Kendal, Ambleside and Keswick on scenic Derwentwater are bases for exploring the area. While you're in this area why not visit the beautiful lake, Ambleside town or enjoy a meal at one of the many pubs that serve food. If you are in The Lake District, you'll be there to enjoy the peace and quiet, beautiful views and even some fishing. Things To Do While On Holiday In The Peak District



Peak District National Park is in central England. Steep limestone valleys like Dovedale, with its famed stepping stones, and Lathkill Dale characterise the park’s southern area, which is known as White Peak. North, the Dark Peak area has dramatic gritstone ridges and stark moorland plateaus like Kinder Scout, the park’s highest point. The nearby village of Edale marks one end of the iconic Pennine Way footpath. While you're in the Peak District, why not visit Chatsworth House, Peak Cavern, Mam Tor, Speedwell Cavern, Pooles Cavern or Haddon Hall.

Things To Do While visiting Or On Holiday In Lancaster



Lancaster is a city in northwest England. On a hilltop, the medieval Lancaster Castle has antique furniture, 19th-century prison cells and views of the River Lune. Lancaster City Museum features displays on the city’s history and its army regiment in a Georgian building. Williamson Park offers woodland walks, a butterfly house and coastal views. The city's seafaring past is explored at Lancaster Maritime Museum.



Liverpool

Places To Visit While in Liverpool



Liverpool is a maritime city in northwest England, where the River Mersey meets the Irish Sea. A key trade and migration port from the 18th to the early 20th centuries, it's also, famously, the hometown of The Beatles. Ferries cruise the waterfront, where the iconic mercantile buildings known as the "Three Graces" – Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building – stand on the Pier Head. Why not visit the Albert Dock where you will find great places to eat, drink and some great views. Liverpool ONE is fantastic for all the family and taking a trip to the City centre is a must for anyone visiting Liverpool.



Manchester

Places To Visit In Manchester



Manchester is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. The Castlefield conservation area’s 18th-century canal system recalls the city’s days as a textile powerhouse, and visitors can trace this history at the interactive Museum of Science & Industry. The revitalised Salford Quays dockyards now house the Daniel Libeskind-designed Imperial War Museum North and the Lowry cultural centre. Why not visit intu Trafford centre, Salford or Manchester Town Centre. If sport is your thing, visit Man City or Manchester United in old Trafford.
